IPFT Job opening 2020. Eligible and Interested candidates may attend the Walk-In-Interview for selection on the following position/s for future requirement for purely temporary engagement on contract basis as per the details given below :

Positon 1

Job Title: Senior Research Fellow

No.of posts: 03

Salary: 35,000/- + HRA

Eligibility: Ph.D. in Chemistry / Agricultural Chemicals / Agrochemicals / Environmental Science. OR M.Sc. in Chemistry / Agricultural Chemicals related field with two years of relevant experience.

Desirable Experience :
(i) Experience in Pesticide Residue and Heavy Metal Analysis in different commodities.
(ii) Exposure and operation of GC, HPLC, GCMS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HR-MS &
ICP-MS.
(iii) Knowledge of NABL and GLP.

Position 2

Job Title: Consultant / Scientific Officer – II

No.of posts: 02

Eligibility:

• M.Sc. in any branch of Chemistry / Agricultural Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry /
  Agricultural Chemicals. Minimum 07 years of experience in Research Lab / Commercial Testing Lab / CRO as Scientist / Analyst / Quality Assurance / Study Director. Out of total
  experience minimum 05 years should be in a GLP Lab. OR
• Ph.D. in any branch of Chemistry / Agricultural Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry /
  Agricultural Chemicals. Minimum 08 years of experience in Research Lab / Commercial Testing Lab / CRO as Scientist / Analyst / Quality Assurance / Study Director. Out of total experience minimum 03 years should be in a GLP Lab. OR Retired Officer from Govt. Organization having relevant experience may also apply.

Salary: 70,000.00 (Consolidated)

Position 3

Job Title: Project Associate-I

No.of posts: 02

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Agricultural Chemicals / related field.

Desirable Experience :

Knowledge of pesticide residue and heavy metal analysis.

Salary: 31,000/- + HRA

General Instructions :

1. The above positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with completion of the projects/requirements and non-transferable to any other projects.

2. (i) The above positions at Sr. No. 1 to 5 are initially for a period of one year and further
extendable on yearly basis based on continuation of research project(s) and subject to
satisfactory performance of individual.
(ii) The above positions at Sr. No. 6 & 7 are initially for a period of one year and further
extendable on yearly basis based on continuation of research project(s) and subject to
satisfactory performance of individual.
(iii) Consultant (Admin) – I & II at Sr. No. 8 above are initially for a period of 06 (six)
month/s, which may be further extended from time to time depending on the
performance of the individual subject to the requirement of the Institute.

3. The upper age limit for SRF, Project Associate-I & Office Assistant (IT) is 35 years, Lab
Attendant is 28 years and Scientific Officer-I & II is preferably 40 years (Relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Woman and 3 years for OBC candidates) while for Consultant it is 65 years as on the date of interview.

4. The date for determining age, qualification, experience etc. shall be the date of interview. The eligible candidates may appear before the selection committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above. Candidates must bring with them a duly filled application form given below, with original & attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph.

5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

6. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the post advertised.

7. The numbers of vacancies are indicative and may be increased or decreased. The number of posts advertised is provisional and can be varied as per the requirement of the Institute.

8. It may please be noted that offer of fellowship/consultancy does not confer on
fellows/consultants any right for absorption in IPFT.

9. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

Note: Depending upon the number of candidates, the interview may be continued for the
subsequent days also, therefore outside candidates are requested to make their own
arrangements accordingly.
