Project Associate I: 04 posts
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry for 02 posts.
- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering for 01 post.
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering for 01 post.
Desirable Experience:
- Candidates with M.Sc. in Chemistry and experience in the field of polymeric membrane synthesis and characterization are desirable.
- Candidates with M.Tech/M.E. will be preferred.
- The selected candidates will work on the project titled “Scale up of Indigenous Membrane/Modules and Pilot Plant for Water Softening and Wastewater Treatment.”
- Candidates will be involved in polymeric membrane synthesis, characterization, process development, and demonstration of processes.
Emoluments:
Emoluments as per CSIR guidelines:
Option (i): Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for scholars who have been selected through:
National eligibility tests (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship/Assistant Professorship or GATE) or
A selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by central government departments, agencies, and institutions.
Option (ii): Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for candidates who do not fall under option (i).
Age Limit:
- For Project Associate I, the maximum age is 35 years as of the last date of receipt of applications through email (14th May, 2024).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

The last date for receipt of emails is 14/05/2024. Applications received by email will be scrutinized based on certain criteria, and only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend an interview using hybrid mode (online and walk-in-interview) as decided by the institute. Details of the interview will be sent to shortlisted candidates by email.
