Manipal University invites applications for Research Scholar / JRF in Chemistry

Manipal University invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Research Scholar/ Junior Research Fellow for Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded research project entitled “Development of rapid pyrolysis method for Nanostructures and thin films” under the supervision of Dr. Suresh D. Kulkarni, Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Manipal University, Manipal.

Qualification: M. Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Nanoscience and Technology/ Materials Science or related discipline with 60% marks. Students whose results are awaited can also apply. Candidates with NET/ GATE qualification or with prior experience in thin film deposition and nanofabrication related area will be given preference.

Duration of the Project: 16 months

Remuneration: Rs. 16,000/- per month

Other Benefits: Eligible candidate may be entitled to register for Ph.D. program of the Manipal University. Eligible candidates may apply with a detailed CV including the copies of the certificate in support of qualifications & past experience on or before May 25, 2016 with the subject line “JRF CAMP CS-123”. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
