Job Title: Junior/Assistant Project Manager – Chemical Development
Job Location: Bangalore
Department: Global Program Management
Job Purpose: This role requires the incumbent to drive and manage projects in the Chemical Development vertical at Syngene
Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree in chemistry/pharma or related disciplines PMP Certification
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
- Having good awareness on GMP aspects
- Adherence to SOPs as per quality standards
- Well versed with project management principles
- Well versed with Microsoft office tools like Excel, Microsoft project & PowerPoint etc.
Effective communication skills in English - Possess the knowledge and exposure to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) practices
Experience:
6-9 years of total experience in the biotech/pharma industry with minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scope setting, developing roadmap, and report building
- Lead the overall execution of multiple projects including initiation, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, and closure according to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Ensure vital communication within the project teams (meetings, minutes, action items) and coordinates / collaborates with other departments
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for the execution of projects
Handle project risks and strategic influencing to maintaining project timelines - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reports by partnering with all the stakeholders to collect and analyze data and structure weekly/monthly reports for final submission
Follow up and track the status of all the actions coming from the Project Management Office project meeting - Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
- Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace Wearing all PPE as required.
- Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene’ s data integrity policies
- Compliance to Syngene’s s quality standards at all times.
