Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB funded project
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for JRF position for the below-mentioned project funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST) – Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. The period of employment may be initially for 01 year and renewed up to 02 years based on the satisfactory performance. The essential qualification & experience etc. required for the position have been mentioned below.

Project Title: Design and development of a non-invasive controlled release sol-gel-based dual drug delivery system for simultaneous alleviation of intraocular pressure and retinal ganglionic cells degeneration in glaucoma
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project duration: 2 years
Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month + House Rental Allowances @ 24%. Approximate emoluments may be Rs. 38,440 per month [OR] As per DST-SERB norms.
Qualification:
Essential: M.S. (Pharm), M. Pharm, M. Tech or Equivalent (with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Regulatory affairs, Biotechnology or Life Sciences from the recognized Board/University/Institute.
Candidates:
(i) qualified in GATE/NET/GPAT or any other national level
examinations; and(ii) having experience in Development and characterization of particulate drug delivery systems, Animal studies, Biodistribution studies, Histopathological techniques, Molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
Age limit: 28 years as on the date of 18 March 2024. Age relaxation may be given for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DST-SERB, Government of India norms.
