Position 1
Job Title: Research Scientist
Number of posts 03 (Three)
Funding Agency Private Organisation

Minimum Educational Qualifications
Ph. D. in Chemistry
Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply.
Preference Candidates having hands on experience on advanced materials synthesis, Multilayer thin film coatings, device fabrication and/or electrochemistry will be preferred
Job requirement Synthesis and characterization of new materials and their use
for charge storage (e.g. alkali-ion batteries) device
fabrication and testing
Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further
period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent
Consolidated emoluments
- Rs.50,000/- per month
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis, but not completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as Research Assistant and paid Rs. 35,000/- per month till the time of submission of Provisional PhD certificate.
Age Not more than 35 years as on the closing date of an Advertisement.

Minimum Educational Qualifications M.Sc. in Chemistry
Preference Candidates having some experience on materials synthesis and characterization and/or electrochemistry will be preferred
Job requirement Making new materials, coatings, and testing them for
charge storage applications
Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further
period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project
Consolidated emoluments Rs.25,000/- per month
Age Not more than 32 years as on the closing date of an Advertisement.
