Associate Professor:
Candidates interested in Associate Professor Jobs must have a minimum of 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which a minimum of 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Pay Level 12) in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/IISERs, institutes of national importance, Indian/Foreign Institutes of equivalent standards, or as Senior Scientist in reputed National/International research organizations/industries at the time of application.
The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.
- Pay: 7th CPC Pay Level 13A2
- Minimum Basic Pay: ₹1,39,600/-
Professor:
A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which a minimum of 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/IISERs, institutes of national importance, Indian/Foreign Institutes of equivalent standards, or Senior Scientist in reputed National/International Research Organizations/Industries at the time of application.
The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific area of specialization in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students, strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.
- Pay: 7th CPC Pay Level 14A
- Minimum Basic Pay: ₹1,59,100/-
Apart from basic pay, applicable D.A., H.R.A., Transport Allowance and other allowances are provided as per institute rules.
