Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Chemistry (or equivalent)
Work Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control within an API manufacturing plant.
Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Officer – Quality Control at Sun Pharma, your key responsibilities will include:
- Sampling & Testing: Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Documentation & Record Maintenance: Maintain hard books, reports, and laboratory records for compliance and audits.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical quality control.
- Reporting Out-of-Specification (OOS) Results: Identify and report any out-of-specification (OOS) findings, ensuring immediate corrective actions.
- Laboratory Housekeeping & Waste Management: Maintain a clean and organized laboratory while ensuring proper disposal of laboratory waste.
- Storage & Retrieval of Laboratory Records: Properly categorize and store laboratory documents to facilitate quick retrieval.
- Reference Standards Preparation: Prepare Working Reference Standards (WRS), Volumetric Solutions (VS), and Test Solutions (TS) as per regulatory requirements.
- Instrument Calibration & Maintenance: Conduct routine calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- SOP & Test Procedure Development: Assist in the preparation and updating of SOPs and test procedures for better workflow efficiency.
- Stability Testing: Perform stability studies to assess the shelf life and quality of pharmaceutical products.
- Sampling Device Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate sampling devices for accurate results.
