Core Purpose of the Role:
- Support analytical development for formulation development.
- Perform routine sample analysis.
- Conduct method development and instrument calibrations.
- Prepare documentation and reports.
- Manage miscellaneous lab responsibilities.
Role Accountabilities:
- Strong educational and theoretical background.
- Knowledge of calibration, method development, and troubleshooting using instruments like:
- Analytical instruments: Zetasizer, Mastersizer, Osmometer, KF Auto Titrator, dissolution apparatus (I, II & IV).
- Spectroscopic instruments: UV spectrometer, IR.
- Chromatographic instruments: HPLC/UPLC, GC, Liquid Particulate Counter.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for method development, product development, and documentation.
- Proficiency in method development for injectable formulations, including:
- Tests for assay, degradation products, dissolution, content uniformity.
- Cleaning methods and degradation products for liposomes/microspheres.
- Free and bound API assay.
- Knowledge of specification setting for parenteral dosage forms and in-process/finished product specifications.
- Experience with instruments like LC-MS, GC-MS is an added advantage.
- Understanding of GxP-compliant documentation, including:
- Online lab notebook writing (e.g., ELN).
- Method development reports, test reports, SOP preparation, calibration documentation.
- Review of documents generated by peers or juniors.
- Ability to search scientific literature online.

Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience.
