Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for analysis, handling of analytical (HPLC, UV & other techniques) instruments, online documentation for batch samples, stability studies, analytical method transfer/validations. Additionally, ensuring department compliance with internal/regulatory audits and maintaining lab readiness for audits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of reagents and chemicals as per the STP and analysis of batch samples (In-process, hold time, and Drug Substance), stability studies, analytical method transfer/validations.
- Calibration of instruments and equipment as per the SOP/defined schedules.
- Conduct protein analysis using HPLC, UV, SDS-PAGE, and ELISA methods.
- Maintenance of calibration of instruments and equipment as per SOP/defined schedules in coordination with the engineering department.
- Operation of HPLC, UV spectrophotometer, gel pack, gel doc, and stability chambers.
- Identify, review, and compile OOS (Out of Specification), Change Control, Laboratory Incidents, and Deviations.
- Participate in internal audits and maintain lab readiness at all times.
- Report and comply with lab events, OOS, change control, incidents, and deviations.
- Support the supervisor/reviewer in handling OOS, deviations, OOT (Out of Trend), laboratory events, change control, CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) with appropriate action plans via Trackwise System.
- Participate in internal/external audits and ensure overall compliance for Quality Control.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional departments like Engineering, QA, Production, and Warehouse.
- Perform any other work assigned by the reporting manager/section supervisor.
Skills/Competencies:
- Good knowledge of Biopharma products and basics of all analytical techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and discuss technical issues within the team.
- Collaboration with QA for effective closure of investigations and events.
- Strong writing, reading, and speaking skills for effective communication.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills to achieve deliverables.
