Qualification and Experience As per MoE guidelines (F. No.12-2/2019-U1 dated January 31, 2019), DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023 or as per the guidelines of the funding agency:Â
Post graduate in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Pharmaceutical Sciences selected through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) and GATE
b. The selection process is through National level examinations conducted by MoE and its agencies and institutions such as UGC/IIT/IISc/IISER/IIIT etc.
Period of engagement:
Initially for 1 year. The position is extendable depending on the progress, performance, and availability of funds.Fellowship/Remuneration per month: Consolidated fellowship Rs.31,000/- p.m. + HRA (as per Govt. of India guidelines)
Job requirement: Candidate with experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and protein purification as well as skills in bioinformatics are preferred.
