Project Associate-I position under a SERB funded project
We are inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I in the Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa. This opportunity is part of a SERB sponsored research project titled “Exploring the Reactivity of Amino Acid and Peptide-based Multifunctional Molecular Electrocatalysts for Energy Conversion” (File No. SRG/2023/001146).
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sudipta Chatterjee
Broad area of Research: Inorganic and Bio-inorganic Chemistry, Electrocatalysis
Duration of the Project: 24 months
Fellowship Amount: Rs. 25,000 + HRA as applicable
Accommodation:
Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Essential Qualification:
First class (with a minimum of 60% marks) in M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry and a minimum of 55% marks in B.Sc.
Desirable Qualification:
- The selected candidate is expected to perform lab responsibilities, experiments in lab, writing reports/manuscripts, etc.
- Candidates with basic understanding and prior experience in synthesis followed by characterization and/or electrochemical techniques will be given preference.
