Position Purpose
The role holder will report to the Group Leader and be responsible for conducting scientific research and experiments related to crop protection and crop growth. The aim is to contribute to the overall success of PI Industries by discovering innovative molecules and adding value to the business.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Imbibing the values and philosophy of PI Industries
- Contributing to the success of CreAgro Chemistry through innovation and team performance
- Fulfilling requirements set by the Group Leader and Team Leader
- Ensuring the security of intellectual property for CreAgro
- Updating knowledge through literature scanning
- Supporting the Team Leader and seeking functional feedback
Operational Responsibilities
- Working with the team to achieve targets
- Documenting and reporting research results
- Conducting literature search and synthetic experiments
- Updating progress and seeking support from Team Leader
- Participating in technical and functional meetings
- Ensuring individual safety

Education Qualification
- MSc/PhD in Organic/Analytical Chemistry from a reputed University/Institute in India or overseas with excellent academic credentials.
- Post-doctoral research experience in a reputed university is preferred.

- 1-7 years of industry experience
- Experience in discovery/process/development chemistry
- Industry to be Hired from: Agrochemical, Fine Chemical, Pharmaceutical
