Position Title: Advanced Scientist
Position Summary:
The candidate will contribute towards the development of new and differentiating products for Electronics markets by designing, developing and commercialization of new concepts by utilizing their technical background
Job Description:
- Develop Electronic thermal management formulations based on a solid understanding of the structure-property relationship in the formulation and hands-on knowledge of end applications. Develop an appropriate testing protocol
- The candidate will review competitor patent filings, publications and product launches to identify trends in markets.
- Lead, plan and execute product development projects, from the definition of customer needs through assistance with the scale-up and commercialization of new materials
- Maintain alignment with cross-regional product and application development teams as well as with marketing and business functions to ensure that projects are aligned globally
- Develop, document and communicate next-generation proprietary technology pursuing appropriate intellectual property protection and Technical reports
- Maintain a safety mindset and focus. Contribute to the safety teams and aid in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees
- Foster innovation in strategic growth areas resulting in impactful intellectual property
Additional Details:
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge on polymer science, organic/inorganic chemistry, thermal fillers and their chemistry, polymer-filler interactions
- Minimum 2-3 year of hands-on experience in thermal management formulation science and application testing
- The familiarity of intellectual property and the patenting process
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a cross-functional team environment
- Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated track record of high academic achievement and creative independent research
- Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
Education Requirements
- Master / Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry/Material /Applied Chemistry from a reputed Institute
- 2-3 yrs experience in the Electronics industry
