Job Description:  

• Maintains compliance to QMS ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Responsible Care Code of the complete AS (Admixture System) product range and various departmental processes and activities.
• Together with development team lead, undertakes feasibility assessment for manufacture of new/modified product and/or process change; provides necessary feed back to technical team management.
• Verifies product properties for new formulae developed by central and regional formulation development team; generates concrete trial data for reference.
• Together with production team lead and development team, undertakes pilot trials concrete trial analysis for newly developed or modified formula; evaluates, study critical check points about product making and materials handling; generates, prepares and maintains relevant reports, records.
• Undertakes concrete and mortar evaluation of new or alternative raw materials; generates and writes reports, vendor and quality control specifications for such materials; maintains relevant records.
• Undertakes concrete investigation for non-confirming products; together with team lead, QA team lead and Production team lead, identifies non-conforming processes and test methods; implements and establishes necessary corrections and corrective actions in processes and recipes.
• Visit site for any urgent nonconformance arise, under instruction from Manager – Product development (AS) or technical head.
• Monitors, plans, orders laboratory chemicals, reagents, materials, tools as required; and ensure appropriate use of them.
• Escalates critical issues on various technical matters pertaining to product non-conformance, specification changes, and technical services, new/alternate materials for timely decisions with team lead, technical head.
• Provides overall assistance to development team in various technical activities; participates and supports cross-functional technical team activities as required; maintains and ensures overall cleanliness and housekeeping inside lab.
• Generates and maintains safety training records, accident and incidental reports; and ensures and enforces use of such tools in a team
• Update and maintain calibration data for all laboratory equipment as per laboratory calibration plan.
• Continuous support to training calendar.

Qualifications:  

• Diploma in Civil Engineering; Graduate/Post graduate in Chemistry
• Minimum 1 years experience in construction chemicals or concrete industry.
