The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is one of the Fifteen higher Institutes of Technology in the country set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Science and Technology. The Institute on an average admits 880 candidates for the undergraduate programme through Joint Entrance Exam(JEE), 280 candidates for 2 Year M.Sc. programmes, 1000 candidates for different postgraduate programmes and 450 for Ph.D programmes every year.

Project title : Synthesis, transition metal chemistry and catalytic studies on new phosphanes appended with oxazole and triazole moieties
Desired Profile : Possessing M.Sc (with 55% marks) in General/Inorganic/Organic Chemistry with chemistry studied all three years in B.Sc and passing of NET/GATE test.
Salary : Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m.
Job Profile : The project involves the synthesis and spectroscopic and structural characterization of various phosphorus based ligands, and studying their organometallic chemistry and catalytic applications. Knowledge in handling GC, GCMS, IR, NMR is considered.
