JOB PURPOSE
As a computational chemist in our Advanced Materials team, you will be responsible for developing advanced modeling capabilities to support scientists in the development of new
materials and technologies for clean future products.WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Collaborate with scientists to conduct modeling and simulation projects, presenting results and insights to stakeholders.
- Adopt AI/ML and deep learning algorithms to develop and test hypotheses relevant to material science.
- Perform laboratory experiments to validate hypotheses and support simulation results.
- Streamline modeling workflows to facilitate the adoption of digital tools, enabling quicker insight generation and decision-making.
- Maintain and expand expertise in materials modeling and simulation by staying updated with the latest research and technological advancements.
Experiences & Qualifications:
Educational Background: B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Master’s degree in Chemistry / Physics / Material Science / Pharmacy or related field.
Coursework/Specialization: In modeling, simulation and ML or minimum 2 years’ experience in modeling and simulation.
Skills:
- Proven domain experience in modeling and simulation.
- Proficiency in programming languages.
- Experience in deep learning frameworks for developing AI/ML models.
- Experience in molecular dynamics and quantum chemistry tools.
- Experience in statistical analysis software.
- Ability to work within multi-functional teams.
- Experience in experimental research, preferably in materials science or a related field.
