About the Course:

  • Pedagogy: The pedagogy is a proactive learning model in which the participants take the major responsibility of learning through interactive sessions, case studies, making presentations and group discussions. The four major pillars of pedagogy include the interactive lecture, experiential learning in the state-of-the-art labs of Biocon Group, hands on training in high-end instrumentation at Syngene CAPS and going through a rigorous professional skills development training.

    • Week 1 – Basic Toolkit
    • Week 2 – Quality Management System
    • Week 3 – Analytical Instrumentation-Spectral and Electrometric methods
    • Week 4 – Analytical Instrumentation – Chromatographic methods Part I
    • Week 5 – Analytical Instrumentation – Chromatographic methods Part II
    • Week 6 – Hands-on training on QC Instrumentation at Syngene CAPS Labs
    • Week 7 – Quality analysis
    • Week 8 – Stability testing

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

  • MSc., Chemistry (Analytical/Organic/Inorganic/Pharmaceutical/Industrial)
  • MSc., Biochemistry

Minimum CGPA/Percentage Required

  • CGPA: 6.8 and above on a scale of 10
  • Percentage: 65% and above

Break in education of 1 year and less from HSC/PUC to the current highest degree, and break in career for up to a year is permissible.

Program Fee & Scholarship:

The Biocon Merit Scholarship of 60%-75% of the program cost offered to all selected students will enable them to pursue this one-of-its-kind program at an affordable cost.
