Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives: To ensure quality of In-Process packaging and finished products as per the ANI standards through accurate and timely analysis and enable customer departments to take timely corrective actions and actively participate in troubleshooting. Contribute to protecting the reputation of the organization by ensuring the right quality product through precise measurement. Major Responsibilities:
• Jhagadia site will have three pouch packing lines followed by jar & BIB packing, the incumbent will have to provide In-Process Testing support to all the packing sections of manufacturing in the shift.
• Ensure self and team members consistently follow all EHS rules and procedures.
• Ensure self and team members immediately report any EHS incident and/or near misses (unsafe acts and conditions) promptly to supervision.

• Incur zero injuries of self and team members as a result of unsafe action/behavior or failure to follow established procedures or guidelines.

Education:
• Postgraduate in Chemistry/Bachelor graduate in Chemistry/Dairy Chemistry/Food Science with 1-2 years experience in the food industry or Graduate in Chemistry/Food Science with 3-4 years experience in the food industry.
Background:
• Knowledge of QA checks regarding finished product & in-process checks.
• Knowledge of safety aspects of QA Labs. / GMP requirements in a food processing industry.
• Hands-on experience in handling GLP, GHP, GDP, cGMP, etc.
Accountability/Scope:
• The position holder is responsible for the analysis of in-process packaging samples being manufactured in all packing lines as per defined testing procedure & frequency.
• Position holder is responsible for the smooth operation of the in-process packaging laboratory, calibration of measuring equipment in labs, and manufacturing area.
• The position holder looks after the functioning of QA equipment in unit labs in shifts & is responsible for the maintenance & proper operation of equipment, monitors the requirement of lab supplies on a daily basis.
• Ensure the right product quality is released to the market by carrying out the timely and accurate analysis of all the finished products in shifts and timely feedback to Production on quality trends.
• To ensure the right quality in process by performing the analysis of intermediate products and in-process checks to ensure conformity to specified norms & timely information to concerned departments.
• Ensure accuracy of measurement by carrying out the calibration of all the equipment and measuring instruments in labs as per specified norms.
• To maintain and upkeep the hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety in the lab.
• To ensure adherence to EHS guidelines, focusing on a safe working environment and complying with EHS audit citations pertaining to Quality.
• To be responsible for the collection and overall management of the Retention Samples as per AN policy.
• Conduct root cause analysis for deviations and carry out troubleshooting with Manufacturing as well as Engineering.
• Achieve a high level of repeatability and reproducibility of in-process packaging results, demonstrate active participation in inter-laboratory error control.
