CSMCRI Chemistry Project Vacancy – Attend Walk-In-Interview

Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for 01 post of Project Associate I (CSIR sponsored project) to work in the area of Natural Product Chemistry (Seaweeds). The details of the post are as follows:

Project Associate I: (01 Post)

Qualification: M.Sc. with Chemistry

Job Requirement: The selected candidates will have to work on the extraction of seaweed polysaccharides from different seaweeds. Candidates having research experience will be preferred.

Emolument: 25000 + HRA

Age Limit: 35 Years

Duration of Project: Up to 31-03-2026

Relaxation in age/qualification as per CSIR norms.

How to Apply:

Interested candidates meeting the above requirements shall attend the interview on 17th September 2024 (from 10:30 AM onwards) using WALK-IN INTERVIEW. The candidate should report one hour prior to the interview and should come with all original documents and one Xerox copy of the documents, including CV and a passport-size photo. The original documents will be re-verified for the candidate at the time of joining, and any deviation will lead to the disqualification of the candidature. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of project

staff in different projects either in the CSIR – Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
