Jubilant Biosys is hiring for Research Associate in Toxicology at Bangalore Location.

Position : Research Associate.

Experience: 3 to 8 yrs

Qualification: M.V.Sc, M Pharm Or M Sc Lifescience.

Roles and Responsibilty :

• Handling of different species of animals.
• Dose administration and blood collections from animals by different routes
• Should have sound knowledge on mechanistic and regulatory toxicity studies.
• Familiar with GLP basic principles and guidelines with respect preclinical studies.
• Should know the health and care guideline for lab animals and should have experience in performing routine health check as per AAALAC standards.

Conduct of GLP & non GLP toxicity Studies

• Conduct of Non-clinical toxicity studies based on Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)/Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
• Study plan preparation in compliance with OECD guideline, Schedule Y and FDA.
• In animal toxicity studies, perform live phase study parameters like dose formulation preparation, dose administration, body weight record, feed consumption record, clinical signs observations, Functional battery test, blood collections from different sites etc.
• Tissue collection and gross pathology observations
• Preparing reports after completion of each study. This involves evaluating the data output by applying scientific knowledge and skills.

Data and record preparations:

• Recording and compilation of study data as per GLP requirement. Interpret, correlate live phase data with clinical investigations and histopathology findings.
• Derive the conclusion based on study results.
• Conducting literature searches with respect to toxicity profile of tested compounds.
• Maintaining toxicology and animal facility records as per AAALAC and GLP standards
• Communicate study outcome and provide routine updates to the reporting manager on status of the work plan
