Executive – Continuous Process Development
About the job
Designation: Executive – Continuous Process Development
Responsibility:
To lead a team of 2 to 3 Junior chemists for development of continuous flow processes at Laboratory Scale with a potential to scale-up
Qualifications:
M.Sc or PhD in Organic Chemistry
Skills:
- Knowledge or Experience in Flow Chemistry / Continuous Flow Process Development
- Working experience with Flow Chemistry equipment.
- Very good understanding of Physical Chemistry, Instruments and knowledge to determine physical properties of raw materials used and their interaction during processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan daily experiments and communicate to team regarding the objectives and expected outcomes and the data and information to be compiled from the experiments.
- To list out the requirements of equipment, chemicals, glass ware, accessories, spares etc and inform the concerned in the department to initiate procurement in a timely manner.
- To coordinate with Analytical team to work out the Analytical development Plan and daily analysis plan based on the critical samples expected and available systems.
- To provide technical support for Kilo & Pilot Scale operations with respect to process chemistry.
- To work out QIP & CIP projects and keep track of the RMC.
