Recruitment of a Project technical support-III at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences,
Hyderabad for the ICMR sponsored project “Prediction of Idiosyncratic Drug Induced
Liver Injury (iDILI): A comprehensive in silico, in vitro and in vivo based multi-tier screening approach”
Brief description: iDILI is the major cause of drug attrition during toxicity trials and even withdrawal from postmarketing. Bile salt export pump (BSEP/ABCB11) inhibition is a major contributor to iDILI. The present project aims to devise an ensemble-docking based screening approach to rank the existing and approved drugs for possible iDILI effects which will be further verified in appropriately developed cellular and in vivo zebrafish models. This project is a large-scale screening initiative of approved and existing drugs for possible iDILI effects utilizing multi-disciplinary approaches.

Fellowship Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year; extendable depending on satisfactory yearly perfor
mance or the continuation of the projectStipend and other allowances: Rs. 28000 + 27% HRA
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Biological/Chemical/Physical/Agricultural Sciences.
Applicants with GATE/UGC-CSIR NET (JRF/LS) /DBT-JRF scores will be preferred.
Age Limit: 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC, physically handicapped, and female applicants.
