Project No: HCP – 54 (IMMT-4)
Title: Rare earth recovery from waste magnet (NdFeB) – Waste scrap to metal/oxide/salt product.

Notice Regarding Application Submission for Various Positions at CSIR – IMMT
Candidates are advised to carefully review the details provided in this advertisement on the CSIR – IMMT website before submitting their applications.
Applicants must send their completed applications, along with self-attested copies of all required documents and certificates, as a single PDF file to the specified E-Mail ID corresponding to each post code (Column No. 8). Please note that applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected.
The deadline for application submission is 31.12.2023. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
General Information/Conditions:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- All positions are based at CSIR – IMMT, Bhubaneswar, and may involve travel as required by the project.
- Engagement of project staff will follow guidelines related to CSIR projects, including NMITLI projects, OLP/MLP, contract R&D, and non-CSIR funded projects.
- Candidates should ensure they meet eligibility criteria before applying, as applications not meeting the requisite criteria may be rejected at any stage of recruitment.
- Candidates applying for multiple positions should submit separate applications for each.
- The age/essential qualification and experience will be determined as of the last date of application submission.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.
- The date of birth entered in the high school certificate will be considered final and cannot be changed subsequently.
- Caste status mentioned in the application form will be considered final and cannot be changed later.
- Applications will be screened based on criteria set by the Competent Authority, and meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
- Eligible applicants will be interviewed online, and the date and time will be communicated through the CSIR – IMMT website.
- Positions are temporary and co-terminus with the mentioned projects. Engagement does not confer any right for regularization against any CSIR/CSIR – IMMT post(s).
- Selection committee may recommend final selection based on performance and may create panels for future projects.
- CSIR – IMMT reserves the right not to fill positions if deemed necessary by the Competent Authority.
- The total tenure of engagement, including previous service in CSIR-IMMT or any other CSIR lab, is limited to five years.
- Candidates currently working on a project at CSIR-IMMT or any other lab/ institute must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the respective authority.
- Equivalent/higher degrees will not be considered as essential qualifications unless otherwise mentioned.
- Initial offer for engagement in any project is for a maximum of one year, extendable based on project duration and candidate performance.
- Original documents will be verified at the time of joining, and joining is subject to verification of all certificates/documents.
- Candidates found guilty of malpractice or seeking support through illegal means will be disqualified.
- This advertisement is not binding on CSIR – IMMT to make appointments.
- No interim inquiry or correspondence will be entertained. The decision of the Director, CSIR – IMMT, is final and binding.
- The Director reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any stage and reject applications without assigning any reason.
How to Apply:
- Candidates must download the application form annexed with this advertisement from the CSIR – IMMT website and diligently fill in the application form, ensuring to sign it.
- Candidates are required to submit scanned copies of the following certificates/documents in the specified order, in a single PDF file to the prescribed e-mail ID mentioned against each post code. i. Completed and signed application form. ii. Self-attested photocopy of identity proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License). iii. Self-attested photocopies of all educational qualification certificates (Mark sheets of all years/semesters and certificates). (In case Universities/Board award letter grades/CGPA/OGPA, candidates must convert it to an equivalent percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by the University/Board and fill up the application form accordingly at the appropriate place. Candidates are required to send the self-attested photocopies of the norms of the University/Board for the conversion of grades/CGPA/OGPA to an equivalent percentage of marks along with the educational qualification certificates.) iv. Self-attested photocopies of experience certificate(s). v. Self-attested photocopy of NET/GATE certificate. vi. Self-attested photocopy of the “No Objection certificate” (if applicable). vii. Self-attested photocopy of the caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority as prescribed by the Government of India. viii. Self-attested photocopy of publications (if any).
