Job Title: Research Associate (Computational Chemistry)
Location: JBL Bangalore, IND
FUNCTION: Research & Development
Eligbility Criteria: M.Sc (Computational Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry or Pharmacoinformatics)
Experience: 3-6 yrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues in medicinal chemistry and other teams for providing scientific knowledge obtained through molecular modeling, and supporting preclinical drug discovery.
- Responsible to deliver modeling results.
- Responsible for optimal utilization of resources in the organization through monitoring, measuring and reporting on scientific issues, opportunities and, developmental plans and achievements within agreed formats & timescales.
- Publish scientific articles in reputed scientific journals.
- Write and maintain records of observations and conclusions for every experiment in timely manner
- Conducting literature searches for the target, structures related to the target and any other relevant or key information.
- Communicate experimental results and provide routine updates to the reporting manager on status of the work / tasks
- Writing scientific procedures, and presentation of research summaries at project meeting.
- Active participation in departmental seminars
- Ensure a safe work environment.
