IISER Kolkata Jobs 2023 – MSc Chemistry Job Under GAIL India
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for Research Assistant position in the GAIL (India) Limited sponsored R&D project undertaken under the Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. This temporary position is initially for a period of 6 months and extendable up to the completion of the project based on the expected performance. The requisite qualification, experience, etc. are given below:

Job description: The Research Assistant will be involved in synthesis of nanomaterials and
evaluating their electrocatalytic performance. The candidate will actively participate in the
research work while remaining involved in all complimentary activities related to the project.
Eligibility: Motivated candidates with minimum 4 years research experience post M.Sc.
(Chemistry), in the field of Solid State Chemistry / Materials Chemistry and consistently good academic record can apply. Prior experience in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, fabrication of electrodes, and operating instruments such as electrochemical workstation are required. The candidate is expected to have at least 3 first author publications.
Salary: Rs. 45,000/- per month (consolidated)
