• Graduate/Postgraduate in Pharmacy/Engineering/Commerce/Economics with min 3+ yrs of exp.
• Experience in project management, leading cross-functional global teams. Good understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes.
• Intercultural experience and ability to act in a sophisticated and rapidly changing business environment.
Position Purpose:
Support the Novartis Technical Operations Center– Supply Operations team in the coordination of various Supply Operations activities in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Regulatory requirements while creating value for our internal customers across all Novartis divisions across geographies.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1) Overall understanding of all forecasting models and Demand Planning Cycle along with practical knowledge. Effective management of supply planning. Good understanding of pharma operations and material planning, ability to breakdown operational activities to aid the creation of operation plans
.2) Ability to evaluate the changes and design set up for life cycle events. Well-versed with all the aspects of the pharma supply chain. Understanding of various SAP transactions. • Ability to read and interpret MM, PIR, SL, BOM & CMA, MRP, PO, SO, etc.
3) Good understanding of advanced concepts like Warehousing, Distribution, and Strategies for optimization.
4) Advanced Excel knowledge with all formulas. Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Advanced Project Management, project planning, and execution, and tracking using project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
5) Pharma product import-export, custom clearance, and import license coordination. Basic understanding of pharma products registration and labeling requirements. Manage new project setup and maintenance with the vendor. Awareness of GxP.
6) Processing and managing IPRs, Global Cohort / PSDS MAP requests in coordination with ESP/NTOSC/GCS. End-to-end tracking of MAP requests to ensure timely delivery of drug to the MAP patients. Coordination with CMR for the availability of all required approvals and documents pre and post-shipment (Import license, temperature data logger, etc.).
7) Archival of all MAP supplies-related documents in GXP SharePoint as per defined nomenclature and timelines and support audit readiness for MAP. • Timely updating of MAP and CR tracker for all assigned requests.
8)Preparation of monthly dashboard / MAP performance report. Inventory Management – Tracking of Inventory and timely highlighting the need of replenishment. Ensure maximum utilization of inventory and stock reconciliation. Plan and coordinate destruction activities at ESP.
