Ingredion is hiring a Quality Manager, India to support the Continuous Improvement of Quality Systems in a manner that will ensure compliance with a regulatory, quality system, EXCiPACT, and customer requirements. Quality Manager, Indi provides support for areas such as Corrective Action Preventative Action/Nonconformance Investigations, Customer Complaints, and Audits. Leads Quality process improvement projects.

Job Title: Quality Manager, India

Location: Ahmedabad

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (i.e. Engineering, Chemistry, etc.).
  • 3 – 5 years experience working in Quality with pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients or products, preferably within a multi-national or in North America / Europe.
  • Experience with ISO, HACCP, EXCiPACT, and training.
  • Investigative experience and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab and flowcharting software.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and providing Quality leadership partnering with operation units with the execution and completion of Quality investigations.
  • Identifying and leading Quality improvement projects supporting the Quality and Operations groups.
  • Analyzing Quality and process work and recommend efficiency improvements – leveraging existing site good practices to align with Ingredion’s global Quality Management System.
  • Supporting other QA functions including Management Review and customer, internal and third-party audits.
  • Participating in the plant’s GMP and Internal audit program. Working with key personnel within the unit to identify root causes and facilitate corrective action for findings.
  • Tracking and trending Quality data. Identifying and developing actionable Quality Metrics.
  • Driving continuous improvement of established Quality systems. Contributes to the development of appropriate Company Standards for Excipient Manufacture.
    Working with assigned operational units to lead Quality issues.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with internal and external customers to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Training others in root cause investigation techniques.

The Quality Manager position is well-suited for you if you have:

  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize position responsibilities to meet established timelines.
  • Knowledgeable with quality tools such as FMEA, LSS, problem-prevention-analysis model, PICCC, decision tables, etc.
  • Ability to support the wider organization to meet Customer’s quality requirements
  • Ability to work with others to implement system changes.
