We are looking for an Analyst to join our US Market Access Insights business group in Bangalore. The full-time analyst position will research and write content pertaining to United States market access, specifically the analysis of national managed care organizations. The analyst will be responsible for determining the appropriate techniques to research and transform data into actionable insights for our client base.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/biotechnology is required.
- Relevant experience of 2-4 years in healthcare company analysis, market research, or US market access is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English.
- Interest in writing for business/professional audiences.
- Excellent writing skills; able to distill complex information and strategies cogently on short turnaround.
- Understanding of market access issues and market research processes.
- Solid understanding of the US healthcare marketplace and government programs such as Medicaid, Medicare.
- Ability to work with other analysts, experience working on multiple projects under tight deadlines, and great attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- SQL, Python, and Tableau skills are a plus.

The US Market Access Analyst role should have the below skills:
- Primary and secondary market research.
- Business writing.
- US healthcare knowledge.
As part of the role, you will:
- Research, develop, and produce high-quality content for assigned insight products, and other projects as assigned, with weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Review, prioritize, and analyze information gathered and data to produce in-depth qualitative analysis for decision-makers within the biopharmaceutical industries.
- Track news and monitor industry trends to understand the roles of payers, PBMs, pharmacies, Federal and local government insurers, employers, specialty pharmacies, insurance, and formulary dynamics.

Clarivate’s US Market Access Insights unit offers proprietary data and hyper-local and hyper-targeted assessments of markets and treatment influencers (including Managed Care Organizations and innovative healthcare systems). As the most complete and trusted market access partner in the industry, Clarivate supplies and harmonizes the data across assets and departments for US Payers, Providers & Healthcare Organizations, and Patients.
Hours of Work – 40 hours in a week as an FTE.
Location – Bangalore
