IACS Kolkata PhD Job – Chemistry Research Associate
A Walk-in-Interview will be held at the School of Materials Science for the recruitment of one Research Associate-I. Interested candidates with the following qualifications are required to appear along with a full bio-data. Check out all the details on the same below:
Job Title: Research Associate -I
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have (a) a PhD degree in Physics/Chemistry (Experimental) from a recognized University or Institute. The candidate must also have the basic knowledge of 2D Materials Synthesis, Photoelectrochemical Water Splitting and CO2 reduction.
Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting award of the same may also apply subject to receiving their PhD degree. Such candidates are eligible to draw fellowship at par with RA only after their PhD degree.
No. of the post: One (1)
Duration: Initial appointment will be done for six months, which subjected to extension up to one year based on the candidate performance review and position availability.
Age limit: 36 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rule.
Emoluments: As per rules of the Association.
The post is purely temporary and it would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any
attending the interview. No TA will be admissible for attending the interview.Note:
For PhD holder, the original or provisional certificate and for the candidate who has submitted the thesis, the relevant document like the acknowledgement copy from the respective university or the authorized letter from the respective supervisor with signature and stamp mentioning the title of the thesis, university registration number, date of submission is mandatory to produce during the interview.
