Job Title: NMR Analyst (9921)
Job Description for NMR Analyst:
- Function as NMR Analyst
- Acquire variety of multinuclear, 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
- Interpretation of 1D and 2D NMR spectra of Organic molecules for structure confirmations.
- Effective preparation of Protocols and Reports for the relevant studies.
- Develop Identification and quantification methods for small molecules by NMR.
- Perform ID and Quantification studies for small and large molecules on routine basis.
- Meet all the compliances and documentation procedures at the NMR lab
- Assist in routine cryogen filling and day to day activities at NMR lab
- Meet all the requirements of the company safety, ethics and quality programmes
Qualification for NMR Analyst Post
- Master’s degree in Chemistry
- 3 to 5 years of Industrial/Academic experience
Mandatory requirements:
- Clear understanding of peptide/protein characterization using NMR spectroscopy.
- Knowledge on peptide/protein assignments using tools like, SPARKY, CARA, etc…
- Should know setting up biomolecular NMR Experiments on Bruker operating system. (Water suppression, TOCSY, NOESY, ROESY, DOSY, HMBC, TROSY and basic 3D experiments)
Desirable requirements:
Experience in peptide/protein biochemistry; working experience with SSNMR is desirable.
