Job Title: Mgr, Medical Affairs
Location: Gurgaon, HR IN
Eligibility:Â MD Pharmacology/Medicine with experience of MNC Medical Affairs
Experience:Â 3 plus years in a reputed MNC pharmaceutical/ healthcare company
Summary of Job Function:
- Respond to Field/Doctors/Patient/Distributor queries and complaints with regard to product, therapy and clinical practices. Track all product quality related complaints and issues so as to coordinate complaint mitigation procedure in collaboration with other stakeholders and respond to the complainant appropriately.
- Design study/protocols, monitor conduct of the study according to GCP guidelines and prepare study reports.
- To be the repository of clinical knowledge for the Company in the country;
- to liaise with the appropriate members of the global Renal function so as to facilitate migration and assimilation of clinical data, findings and trends.Driver of strategic clinical studies for renal unit and participate in national & international medical congresses as Baxter (India) representative.
Field activities
- Identification, development and management of KOLs and discussion of Therapy concepts and Baxter educational initiatives.
- Design and assist with the coordination and implementation of medical affairs trials in association with the local Clinical Research team
- Work closely in a cross-functional approach with the therapy unit to identify the unmet needs and bring voice of customer to the table cultivating innovation.
- Effectively interface with the Therapeutic Area team to ensure optimal implementation of regional & global initiatives.
- Effectively interface with market access to provide subject matter expertise that enables resolution of market access and funding issues. This includes working closely with the Market Access team
- Build and maintain advanced disease, product & therapy knowledge
- Identify and implement medical initiatives for the development of new & existing products
- Call on KOLs with calendar plan and efficient call frequencies
- Identify and cultivate new opinion leaders
