Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” under the following research project funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Job Title:   Junior Research Fellow

Project Title:   Developing Small Molecule Modulators of Signal Recognition Particle Function

Age Limit:  Preferably below 30 years of age.

Salary:    25,000/- p.m. + HRA. (Candidates without GATE qualification may be considered at a reduced salary of 12,000/- p.m as per rules)

Job Description/Nature of Work:  

Qualifications:  

  • M.Sc. degree in Chemistry (preferably with a specialization in organic chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute and having minimum 55% Marks or CGPA of 7 on a scale of 10. Previous experience in organic synthesis is desired.
  • Candidates must have preferably qualified CSIR/UGC NET or GATE with a rank of 500 or better.
