Job Description
As a QA Engineer at Monster Energy, you’ll be at the forefront of turbocharging our Compliance and Quality Assurance processes across the region. You’ll dive into quality compliance audits for suppliers and contract manufacturers, tackle consumer complaints and non-conformances head-on, and power up the QA Manager/Director in steering the QA function to new heights.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled Internal and External Quality / Food Safety Management System Audits as assigned. Manage the remediation process associated with each audit.
- Conduct investigations into consumer complaints and non-conformances.
- Analyze data, interpret the data, and then report as needed.
- Provide QA leadership updates on assigned projects such as site risk assessments, environmental evaluations, water qualifications, and special projects assigned by management. Support site improvement projects as necessary.
- Participate, support, and execute validation activities as necessary to support business needs.
- Improve the Company Quality Management Systems.
- Perform other duties as required in support of the running of the regional Quality department.
Requriements
- Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other relevant technical degree, making this role suitable for candidates searching for BSc Chemistry jobs.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1–3 years of experience in a technical position in a food, dietary supplement, or Pharma manufacturer.
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in a variety of testing methods.
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Statistical Analysis software experience, such as MiniTab/GraphPad, preferred.
- Preferred Certifications: HACCP, PCQI, Auditing preferred.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Experience in Food and Drug Administration-regulated industries preferred.
