Job Overview:
The Quality Control Officer role involves performing analytical and quality control activities within pharmaceutical and fine chemicals operations. Professionals will conduct sample analysis for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods while ensuring compliance with cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, and regulatory standards. The role includes handling HPLC, GC, wet analysis, calibration, documentation, SAP reporting, and analytical record maintenance. Candidates will also support ISO implementation, supervise operators, monitor waste management activities, and contribute to quality operations and emergency response systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of under-test samples and report results on time
- Conduct sampling and analysis for RM, intermediates, and finished goods
- Handle HPLC, GC, and wet analysis operations
- Maintain GMP and ISO documentation records
- Support SAP result recording and quality reporting
- Assist in ISO implementation activities
- Coordinate for quality-related clarifications and issues
- Monitor calibration, standard preparation, and standardization
- Train and supervise operators within the department
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and quality systems
Educational Requirements:
- Education: B. Sc. / M. Sc. (Chemistry)
- Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience in Quality including cGMP, ISO and regulatory Audits
Skills Required:
- Give timely reports to SAP for result recording.
- Knowledge of Quality Control in Fine Chemicals and pharmaceutical company. Experience of cGMP
- Fill and update all documents.
- Zero accidents in the Quality operations.
- Achieving batch wise timelines, quantity and quality.
- Will train & supervise the working of all operators working in his dept. Will monitor the waste generated during operation.
- Will be member of the Emergency response team and will guide & train other team members in case of Emergency.
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015, SAP, and other Quality system into department. Will maintain the analytical records / log sheets as per GMP & ISO guidelines
