CSIR CGCRI Project Associate Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in on 14 May 2025!

The CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI), Kolkata, invites applications for the position of Project Associate-I under a prestigious project funded by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. This project focuses on developing Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (SOEC) technology to reduce the CO₂ footprint in the iron-making process. Candidates with degrees in Ceramic Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Project Details

Project Title: “Development of Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell & Short Stack for Blast Furnace Top Gas Utilization to Reduce CO2 Footprint in the Iron Making Process”

Tenure: Initially 1 year, likely to be extended till 04/03/2027

Position: Project Associate – 1 (02 Positions)

Stipend: Rs.31,000/- + HRA or Rs.25,000/- + HRA (depending on qualification)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology/ Environmental Science or Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Nanotechnology/ Materials Science & Engineering, or technology from a recognized University or equivalent, OR M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent

Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxation for SC/ST/PH/Female/OBC)
