Job Summary:

The QA Consultant position is a strategic role focused on leveraging company sustainability initiatives to enhance customer opportunities. Responsibilities include maintaining Quality and Food Safety Systems by ensuring compliance through implementation, monitoring, trend analysis, and reporting. This role collaborates with teams to execute strategies that drive sales and support sustainability goals. Ideal candidates will have experience in a science-related field.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Implement The Coca-Cola Quality System (KORE) ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards for products, packages, ingredients, and services across all facilities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of Quality and Food Safety programs to maintain 100% compliance across bottling plants, performing end-to-end assessments and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Develop business plans aligned with Quality & Food Safety strategy, track compliance, review plant designs, and share best practices onsite; provide solutions and guidance on Quality & Food Safety issues.
  • Provide technical expertise to bottling partners and co-packers, including technical validations to authorize new or modified systems or equipment.
  • Manage product and package quality in the market, supporting periodic market surveys and trade planning studies; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Guide plants on sampling requirements and liaise between them and company/third-party laboratories.
  • Develop new processes and quality system applications to enhance manufacturing capability for new product categories.
  • Provide technical guidance for new product/package launches, coordinate troubleshooting, and create master mixing instructions.
  • Conduct plant visits to support quality and manufacturing processes, providing integrated technical support.
  • Train front-line leaders on KORE requirements, laboratory analyses, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Build a sustainability engagement process with customer teams, focusing on partnership opportunities to boost sales.
  • Assist in developing a customer sustainability strategy through collaboration and advocacy with stakeholders.
  • Conduct audits of fountain customers to ensure compliance with beverage quality and food safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality systems management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Proven experience in Sustainability, scientific and regulatory affairs, Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, GFSI), food regulatory, and microbiology.
  • Understanding of sustainability topics, including water, energy & climate, sustainable agriculture, packaging, and recovery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in persuasion and influence, both internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of system economics, value chain, and supply chain finance.
  • Technical expertise in bottling operations, beverage production technology, and supplier processes.
  • Ability to assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Knowledge of packaging, product, and ingredient management.
  • Experience with Program Measurement and Measurement Verification is ideal.
  • Customer team experience and auditing preferred.
