Applications are invited for two (02) posts of Guest Faculty in the subject of Pharmaceutics for the academic session 2024-2025 (odd semester) in University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh for B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. Classes. Applications complete in all respects (please refer to: https://forms.puchd.ac.in/forms/20200122155429-directrecruitmentassistantprofessorapplicationformasperugcregulation2018.pdf) along with a recent passport size photograph, copies of degrees, certificates of merit, awards (scholarships/fellowships), lists of publications, and other supporting documents must reach the Department office by 30.07.2024 before 5:00 PM by email ([email protected]).
Essential Qualifications:
Good academic record with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. level from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
Desirable:
- Ph.D.
- First preference will be given to Ph.D./GPAT qualified candidates

The candidates are also required to submit the hard copy (one copy only) to the office of the Chairperson, University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160 014 latest by 30.07.2024 before 5.00 p.m.

The above teaching
assignment is on a lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The candidate shall have to give an undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency during the tenure of teaching at UIPS.Working hours for the appointee will be from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m, Monday to Friday.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
