CAP invites applications from suitable candidates for the temporary posts of following
Projects:
- Project Scientist-I (01 No), Senior Project Associate (01 No.) and Project Associates-II (02 Nos.) in project entitled “Efficient Functioning of Laboratories”.
- Junior Research Fellow (01 No) in project entitled “Aroma Park Facilitation Cell”.
- Lab Assistant (01 No) in project entitled “Evaluating Cannabis Germplasm Selection of Elite Accession for Secondary Metabolites Profile”.

“Efficient Functioning of Laboratories”
Name of Post: Project Scientist-I (Perfumery)

Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.): 56,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification: M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology with 2 years experience in Perfumery & fragrance creation OR Doctoral Degree (Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences/ Pharma
) with working experience in Perfumery and fragrance creation in reputed perfumery industries OR Master’s Degree (Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences/ Pharma) and Post Graduate Diploma in the area of perfumery with 2 years experience in perfumery and fragrance creationPost II
“Efficient Functioning of Laboratories”
Name of Post: Senior Project Associate
No. of Post: 01
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.): 42,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science/ Life Science OR Master’s Degree in Science/ Life Science with 4 years experience in operations and maintenance of sophisticated instruments like ICP-MS/ GC-MS/ HPLC/ HPTLC

Name of Post: Project Associate-II (Perfumery/ Cosmetics)

Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.): 28,000+HRA OR 35,000+HRA (For NET/GATE Candidates)
Essential Qualification: M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology/ Cosmetic Technology OR Master’s Degree (Chemistry/ Chemical Sciences/ Pharma)/ B.Tech (Perfumery/ Cosmetics)/ B.Pharma/ Post Graduate Diploma in the area of Perfumery/ Cosmetics with 2 years experience in product development/ perfumery and fragrance creation
Post IV
“Evaluating Cannabis Germplasm Selection of Elite Accession for Secondary Metabolites Profile”
Name of the Post: Lab Assistant

Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.): 20,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (CBZ) with experience in any chemical/plant science laboratory, preferably in aromatic plants
Post V
“Aroma Park Facilitation Cell”
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F.)
No. of Posts: 01
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.): 31,000/- + HRA (as per UGC guidelines)/ month
Essential Qualification: Master in Science in Chemistry, M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from Repute institute (NET Qualified candidate will be given preference)
Terms & Conditions:
- Initially, the contract till 28th February 2025 and may be extended further on the basis of the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
- The candidates will have to bring the original certificates at the time of Interview.
- The application will have to be submitted only on the prescribed proforma. This advertisement along with the application format is available on CAP’s website: http://www.capuk.in. The application form may be downloaded from the website and used for applying for the above posts.
- The Candidates should send their application along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents related to academics and work experience etc. through Registered/ Speed post/ Courier/ By hand on or before the last date of submission of application. The application received after last date will not be considered.
- Incomplete applications in any manner (i.e. unsigned, without furnishing requisite particulars, without the required documents/certificates, without photograph) will not be entertained and are liable to be summarily rejected.
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for the post Project Scientist-I, Senior Project Associate, Project Associates-II, Junior Research Fellow, Lab Assistant (Advertisement No. 02/Proj/2024-25) as the case may be.
- The candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post.
- The eligible candidates will be informed for the interview separately.
- No travelling allowance will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- The age limit for all above posts is between 21 years to 42 years as on the last date of submission of the application. The age relaxation for reserved candidates of Uttarakhand State will be given as per Uttarakhand Govt. rules.
