Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of project-JRF in the research area of “Applications of Charge Transfer Organic Cocrystals in the Design of new Dielectrics” under the SERB-CRG Project No SERB/CHM/2023-2024/87.
Project Description: The project involves the synthesis and crystallization of charge transfer cocrystals involving different donors and acceptors via the method of mechanochemical synthesis followed by characterization using SCXRD, PXRD, DSC, TGA, HSM, and dielectric measurements on the pelleted cocrystals. Duration: One year.
Eligibility:
- BS-MS/MSc/MS (or equivalent) in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.0 and above on a scale of 10.
- Candidates must have Mathematics at the undergraduate (Bachelor) level.
- Qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE with a valid score at the time of application.
- Candidates should be below 27 years of age at the time of application.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 p.m. + HRA (16%).
