1.Can you explain your experience in designing detailed technical solutions for customer applications in the field of Product Hardware Engineering?

Answer: Sure! In my previous role as a Senior Analytical Engineer, I have successfully designed and implemented various technical solutions for customer applications, specifically focusing on sample handling systems, support structures, power distribution, signal distribution, gas distribution, and interconnecting devices. These solutions were delivered on time, meeting Emerson’s quality standards, and involved creating electronic drafting files using AutoCAD for P&ID drawings, structural arrangement drawings, electrical diagrams, and fabrication drawings.

2.How do you ensure that the purchased and fabricated components you specify for a project are of high quality and meet the required standards?

Answer: Ensuring the quality of purchased and fabricated components is crucial for a successful project. To achieve this, I work closely with vendors and procurement teams, providing them with comprehensive bid specifications and technical requirements. During the vendor selection process, I prioritize suppliers with a proven track record of delivering high-quality components. Additionally, I conduct thorough inspections during the pre-FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and FAT (Field Acceptance Test) stages, where I assess the components’ functionality and compliance with project specifications.

In my previous projects, I have extensively dealt with hazardous area classifications and have a deep understanding of international standards and regulations governing such installations, such as ATEX and IECEx. I have successfully applied this knowledge to identify and define hazardous zones, select appropriate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety measures for these zones. This includes specifying analyzers, samplers, dryers, and other components suitable for hazardous areas to guarantee the safety and reliability of the entire system in international projects.
