Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the following project positions.
Principal Investigator: Dr. S.K. Raghav, Scientist-F, ILS, Bhubaneswar
Projects Title: “Genomic Surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 In India: Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG)-Phase II”.
Job Title: 1. Project Associate-II: (01 position)
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month + @16% HRA
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline) with 2 years of experience in research work are eligible to
apply.
Preference will be given to national-level entrance test (NET/GATE/GPAT) qualified candidates. For non-NET/GATE candidates, the fellowship would be applicable as per DST guidelines. Research experience in cell culture and molecular biology
techniques will be preferred.
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 35 years in age, as on 7 th June 2023. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Selection will be carried out through

All the positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in
this regard.
