Eligbility Criteria

University degree in technical discipline or general sciences

PREFERRED: Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Food Science degree

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Quality
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain Manufacturing is a must.

Job Main Scope:

Logistics Quality Assistant Manager role is focused on Quality in the Go to Market operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring and providing technical quality support to assembling operations, repacking operations, customers, Brand Building and local Brand Development (for promotions, INCs, local jewels) for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, regulatory compliance, care line support, on‐shelf assessments and incident management investigation.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support deployment of Unilever Quality strategy, governance and goals through specific projects and targets
  • Support the development the development of Quality links to MCO and SC GtM Strategy.
  • Participate in communication of local regulatory requirements and changes and supports work to ensure compliance at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance in warehousing & logistics.
  • Participate in Risk Assessment of New Innovation will be imported products to units ’s geophagy, plus E-Commerce Risk Assessment related to products to this Channel.
  • Support efforts to resolve Quality issues in re-packers, assemblers, promotions suppliers and customers within unit’s geography.
  • Initiate & assist efforts to ensure that on-shelf audits are completed for new innovations and promotions to provide timely feedback postlaunch.
  • Lead verification of ongoing compliance to Unilever Quality Management Standards in third party re-packers, distributors and logistics WHs through communications, self-assessment activities, KPI monitoring, technical visits, etc.
  • Support Procurement issue resolution and capability assessment for promotional material suppliers
  • Support regular marketplace on-shelf product assessments are carried out (CRQS evaluations), data is analyzed, and improvement projects are activated and followed up
  • Support interface with Consumer / Customer care / E-Commerce Channels for alert triggers and feedback data and ensure relevant corrective & preventive actions has been taken.
  • Support preparation of Inter-company Quality documents for cross border inter-Unilever FG import, validates first shipment quality and monitors on-going quality of FG received
  • Support local marketplace product quality incident management and consequent actions
  • Assist Incident management investigation & reporting per Unilever IM requirements
  • Support development of improvement activities based on the monitoring and manipulation of marketplace data from multiple channels (e.g. consumer & customer care lines, shelf inspections, warehouse & re-packer data, employee observations, etc.)
  • Support effort to provide cold chain quality support and improvements from DC to Point of Sale (POS) – secondary & tertiary transport and storage, distributors, concessionaires.
  • Contribute to Quality improvement projects for business complaints, cold chain and on-shelf CRQS improvement
  • Support improvements related to import / export that have been raised to supplying or manufacturing site.
  • Drive transformation of Quality activities data collection, assessment & analysis into a digital tools & dashboards to be able to help driving fast business improvement.
  • Assist in building Quality talent in MCO through recruitment, coaching, and training.
