Project Title: “Ab initio Modeling of Molten Metal Batteries”. We are looking for motivated and talented candidates with prior experience with density functional theory calculations (preferably in VASP or CP2K) and Catalysis. Coding in C/C++ and familiarity with Linux environment is also highly desirable.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience:
- Phd in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Physics/Material Science with strong fundamentals in Catalysis
- Prior experience with density functional theory calculations (preferably in VASP, CP2K)
- Good programming knowledge in C/C++
- Familiarity with Linux
Duration of the post: One year, starting from August 01, 2022 with a possibility of one or two-year extension depending on the performance
Consolidated Salary: Rs 56,000/- per month (16% HRA as per IITK norms)
