Job Title: Chemist – Quality Assurance

Eligibility Criteria & Experience:
- Master’s degree in chemistry or microbial background
- 4+ years experience in Manufacturing, Quality or related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Position Summary:
Monitor and report on site QMS performance like ISO 9001, Halal, EFfCI & GMP etc.,
Support the global QMS function by performing audits, communicating issues, identifying trends, maintaining systems and documents, promoting customer focus, and driving improvement.
Taking care of Microbial Laboratory to satisfy the testing requirement.
Job Description:
- Implement and maintain global QMS processes, procedures, and policies
- Maintain ISO 9001 certification
- Maintain Halal certification
- Schedule and implement site QMS Management Reviews
- Develop internal audit plans consistent with global QMS requirements
- Ensure site registrar audits are scheduled and completed
- Respond to external registrar audits
- Monitor closure and effectiveness of QMS audit findings
- Work with businesses to evaluate/close gaps to industry standards and certifications (e.g. cGMP, ISO16949, etc.)
- Support to implement EFfCI & GMP practices and microbial testing

Business Impact and Accountability
- Ensure that the regional QMS Strategy and implementation is in alignment with the company strategic plans and business needs.
Support for the region and be accountable to:
- develop objective evidence that site processes conform with global and ISO9001 requirements
- schedule and implement site QMS Management Reviews
- develop and implement site QMS objectives aligned with global objectives
- develop internal audit plans consistent with global QMS requirements
- ensure site registrar audits are scheduled and completed
- ensure consistency in responses where we have multiple site requests
- maintain a sufficient number of cross-functional internal auditors
Compliance
- Ensure that the integrity of the QMS processes and framework is implemented appropriately and are maintained when changes to the QMS are planned and implemented within the region
- Lead Audits and hold management reviews as needed to ensure compliance with global QMS and ISO9001.
- Maintain documents, document system, and action tracking system. Ensure that action and audit findings are being followed through on appropriately.
- Ensure training records are maintained and up to date.
- Ensure sites comply with quality standards such as Kosher, Halal, cGMP, etc. as required by business
