Job Title: Research Executive (Colorants)

Elibgility Criteria B. Tech / M. Sc. / M. Tech in chemistry

Experience 0.00 to 3.00 years

Desirable in colorants/pigment dispersions, paints, etc

Functional Competencies

Should have strong work background/knowledge in pigments, pigment dispersions, and surfactants. Should have strong knowledge of paints.

Behavioral Competencies

Team worker, self-initiative, good communication skills, adaptability/flexibility to change in situations. Innovative/think differently to achieve the goal/gather knowledge. Challenge himself on his performance in delivering the projects on time.

Job Purpose To process, evaluate, and develop colorants.

Responsibility Areas

• Development of colorants
• Develop alternate to vulnerable raw materials
• Provide support to plant after the release of formulation/if required should visit the plant for joint batches
• Provide support/solution to the complaints
• Provide support to plant whenever required
• Provide support to OHSAS and ISO
• Self-initiative to develop new capability
• Interact with vendors/supply chain/plants
• Generate knowledge in the colorant/paint domain

Key Performance Indicators

• Release of new formulation
• Develop alternate vendor/good cost savings
• Smooth processing at plant
• Reduce the number of customer complaints
• Closure of design change requests etc.
• Good safety and quality practices
• More visibility to self and the group
• Development work will be completed in short time
• Record the acquired knowledge and can be used whenever required
