Eiliibgility Criteria:
Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemicals/Entomology/Plant Pathology OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall Grade Point Average, with at least 3 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ training/ other engagements as circulated vide F. No. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014 and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS rated (≥4.0) journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST
dated 30.01.2019
•Research experience in Pesticide Residue Analysis Laboratory accredited as per ISO/IEC 17025 /training on sample preparation and sophisticated analytical instruments
such as LC-MS/MS and GCMS/MS.
Desirable Qualification: Minimum 2 research publications in the relevant subject with
NAAS rating >6.0
Important Instructions
1. Age limit: Maximum 40 years for men. For women/SC/ST/OBC, an age relaxation of 5 years will be given as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.
2. Candidate shall produce a No objection and an experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed at the time of interview.
3. The above position is purely on a contract basis for a period up to 31 March 2022 or the period till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
4. The candidate shall not claim regular appointments at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.

Selection Process: In view of the deteriorating situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in New Delhi, it has been decided that the interview will be conducted only through Video Conferencing (Online) and not in person.
The selection will be on the basis of educational qualifications, relevant experience and followed by an interview process. Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications, experience and age will be called for an online interview. Selected candidates will be
informed by e-mail to appear for virtual/online interview.
Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.
