South East Central Railway Pharmacist Vacancy 2022
In view of the exigencies related to the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of adequate preparedness, it has been decided to engage 75 (51-for Covid-19 + 24- against Cadre) paramedical staff for the post as mentioned below on a contract basis, for Central Hospital, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur.
Eligible candidates having the following qualifications, age, experience, and fulfilling other terms and conditions may appear before the Selection Board for walk-in-interview along with duly filling in the application form in the given format as per Annexure-I, with all relevant certificates/testimonials in original and self-attested copies of each.
The preference will be given to extending the engagement of retired paramedical staff on a contract basis (in Group “C’) to meet the requirements for handling the COVID- 19 pandemic.

Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University or equivalent and Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmac Act, 1948

Age Limit: 20-33 years
Period of Contract: The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for a period upto 31.03.2022 or availability of fresh candidates through GeM/ regular selection, whichever is earlier. The service rendered as re-engagement/contract of Para-medical staff is an arrangement for meeting up the requirement of the pandemic situation and it will not confer any right for automatic regularisation/ absorption in any circumstances. The full-time paramedical staff who enters into Contract/Re-engagement with the Railways will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term Contract/Re-engagement. The Railway administration has full right reserved to discontinue contract/re-engagement at any stage. All other terms and conditions as laid in Railway Board’s letter No. E(NG)ll/2005/RC-4/SC/2 Pt.l dated 30,04.2021 and others as mentioned from time to time shall be binding upon the Para-Medical staff.
Salary: Rs. 29200/- in Level-5 of 7TH CPC plus admissible allowances.
- Candidates are advised to download the Bio-data form and filled up properly. On reporting for Walk-in-Interview, candidates have to submit the filled form along with one set of required documents.
- Candidates are advised to make all arrangements on their own for appearing for a walk-in-interview. The interview may be extended to more than scheduled days depending on the number of candidates reported. Hence, candidates are advised to come with preparedness in this regard.
- Candidates are advised to come for an interview with adequate Covid precautions and observance of the protocol. No TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided to the candidates attending the interview.
- Candidates may check SECR web site http://secr.indianrailways.gov.in. for updates of walk-in-interview.
Termination of Contract:
During the period of contract either party (the Para-medical staff of Railway Administration) is free to terminate the contract on 15 days prior notice. In case the Para-medical staff is found physically or mentally invalid or incapacitated the contract can be terminated forthwith. However, if Paramedical staff leaves without notice or before completion of 15 days notice. He/she shall be liable to pay the amount for the required period as per prevailing rates.
Documents to be required: Candidates are advised to bring original certificates for verification of the time of the Interview along with the application in the prescribed format & with the following documents.
Two recent Passport size photographs (self-attested).
ii. Educational/Technical/Professional qualification certificate from a recognized institution.
iii. Certificate indication the date of birth (SSC).
iv. Certificate of experience & ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer & relevant certificates.
v. Aadhar Card & PAN Card.
vi. The Photocopy of Service Certificate & PPO (Only for Retired Railway Employee).
The detailed instruction with regard to the duties while in contract engagement in Railway shall be given to the contractual paramedical staff concerned in the event of selection along with the officer of engagement.
Appearance in the interview will not vest any right upon the candidates to be engaged as paramedical staff and no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made with the candidates in the event of candidates not getting selected.
