Job Title: Sr. Analyst (C)
Job Purpose: Agronomist familiar with the farming practice and/or GH.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry / Agricultural Science/ Horticulture science.
- Excellent knowledge of fertilizer
- A proven research record of accomplishment with the publication
- Ability to create, foster, and drive a culture for innovation.
Highly motivated. - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Willingness to travel for agronomy trials
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve aggressive goals and targets; Embrace change and technology evolution as an opportunity.
- Strong environmental, health, and safety ethics & play an active role in creating a culture of safety.
- Must have a proven history of creativity, ingenuity (problem-solving skills), and inquisitiveness
- Skilled in writing technical reports, along with good presentation skills.
Self-starter, independent thinker, proactive problem solver- passion for excellence
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Should have good knowledge of greenhouse operation and maintenance
- Well versed with fertigation, foliar application, and drip irrigation techniques
- Soil and fertilizer testing and recommendation
- Agronomic evaluation of new fertilizer product
- Exposure on the application of Micro Irrigation Systems
- Good knowledge of plants and soil to improve crop yield and develop better planting/farming practices.
- Well-versed with harvesting techniques, technology and developments.
- Detail agronomy study and field data statistical analysis
- Work with marketing and applications personnel to develop specialized products.
- Establish and ensure that Product Data Sheets and MSDS’s are in place for all products. Develop all related SOPs.
- Involve in technical evaluation for different technologies and production application
- Manage high standards of Safety, Health, and Environment in all activities.
- Document and communicate research findings and improvements.
- Make high-level technical presentations and communication
- Oversee coordination with other research institutes and universities to set up programs.
Experience with all fertilizer products along with secondary and micronutrients
