Applications are invited for the Post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for DST-NSM Funded Project in Department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore – 632 014.
Job Title: Senior Research Fellow In Department Of Chemistry
Experience: from 0 to 3 year(s) of Experience
Salary: 4,00,000 – 4,25,000 P.A.
Project Title:“Discovering substrate-assisted catalysis mechanism of oncometabolite formation in wild type and mutant IDH1/IDH2 enzyme using QM/MM calculations”
Qualification:
M.Sc Chemistry and its related disciplines.
Desirable Criteria:
Candidates having knowledge in QM/MM calculations, IDH1/IDH2 enzymatic reactions and experience in computational quantum chemical calculation will be preferred.
Stipend: Rs. 35,000/- per month (for two years)
Sponsoring Agency: DST- NSM, Government of India
Duration: 2 Years
